I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Bologna and the University of Idaho, with research periods at Ghent University and Cornell University.

My research brings together intersectional ecocriticism, queer ecologies, narrative theory, postcolonial studies, affective ecocriticism, and utopian studies.

I am the author of Intersectional Futures in Climate Fiction: Undoing the Anthropocene Master Narrative (Peter Lang, 2025), and my second monograph, Eco-Anxiety and the Politics of Futurity in Contemporary Fiction, is under contract with Bloomsbury Academic. I am also co-authoring Queer Ecological Forms in Contemporary Fiction with Gabriele D’Amato.

My work has appeared or is forthcoming in journals including English Studies, European Journal of English Studies, Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment (ISLE), Modern Fiction Studies, and Studies in the Novel, as well as Oxford Intersections and several edited collections.
